Rethinking Tallinn’s Old Town

The project reimagines a district located along the southern edge of Tallinn’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It proposes a poetic reconfiguration of the public spaces, connecting the upper and lower parts of the site while taking advantage of its topography.

The site becomes a framework for the creation of new recreational and cultural activities for both residents and visitors.

The shortage of housing is addressed through the careful renovation and management of the existing building stock, enabling residents to reclaim and reinvest in the Old Town.
